YSL Volupte Sheer Candy

This post is going to be super short and sweet -- I'm not much of a lip color person.  I have my all time favorites that I know I can slap on when I'm in a rush, and know they'll still look good.  I've been on a little YSL kick lately after trying out their new Blur Primer and Blur Perfector (review here).

I decided to purchase the YSL Volupte Sheer Candy Glossy Balm in #04 Succulent Pomegranate, and boy am I glad I did.  I'm not one to spend tons of money on lip products, but after reading great reviews and comments about this being the perfect sheer color, I splurged.

I use a light coat of this and my lips are left soft, juicy, and they smell amazing.  It leaves the most beautiful, sheer touch of berry to your lips and can be built to a deeper berry/pink if you're feeling spicy.

Yes, that is a mark from my Anastasia Brow Pomade -- It takes forever to come off.

The packaging is gorgeous, color is gorgeous, and my favorite thing about this lipstick is that it's not drying.  I can apply this to moisturize my lips and give them a little extra oomph!
