We all know the LBD.  We probably have five in our closet - Or am I just a hoarder?  But let's not neglect the LBB, which my brain coined as the "little black bag".


I used to be the girl who would buy a purse, wear the crap out of it.  I would wear it until the stitching was unraveling, the strap broke off, or a hole appeared in the bottom and my stuff started falling out.  It only took me until I was 24, but I finally realized the importance of a simple, universal black bag.

My heart was drawing my eyes to YSL, Chanel, and Givenchy, but my wallet was telling me otherwise.  I did some serious searching and finally came upon this gorgeous bag from Rebecca Minkoff (Nordstrom exclusive).  If you're ballin' on a budget like myself, I feel you!

This was actually my first Rebecca Minkoff purchase and I couldn't be happier.  The size of the Side Zip Mini Regan Crossbody Bag is exactly what I was looking for - Large enough for me to carry the essentials (card holder, phone, keys, a lipstick or two, and some gum), but not too large to where I started hoarding.  I'm trying to minimize what I carry around, and it's pretty liberating to be able to actually find my keys when reaching into my purse!

I'm also in love with this Black Embossed Python phone case from Gigi New York -- It comes in tons of different colors, but naturally I had to get the black.

The shape of the bag has the winged out look similar to the Celine Luggage Bag, just not as extreme.  The side zippers are adjustable and can be closed for a more squared-off look, or left undone to give it that casual, winged appearance, which I prefer.

I love the fringe as well - It gives this LBB some personality and isn't so "blah", which is what I'd typically go for!  The leather feels very high quality and is finished with Rebecca's signature jacquard lining.

I'm so used to carrying larger bags, so having the option to wear this as a crossbody is so convenient. The bag looks great worn over the shoulder, crossbody, or held by the smaller  top carry handles.

I'm loving this bag and will definitely be expanding my purse collection these coming seasons!
