Bright, Even Skin with MyChelle

I'm a huge sucker for skincare, but shouldn't we all be?  Our skin is the largest organ on our body, so it makes me cringe a little when people neglect their skincare, especially in their 20s.  I'm the girl that will be walking down the street and stop someone to ask what their secret product or trick is if they have great skin.  I once had an hour conversation with a gorgeous woman in Miami because I couldn't stop staring at her glowing, even complexion.  (Her tricks were Vitamin C, Retinol, exercise, and sex BTW).

A few months ago I started using the Peter Thomas Roth Vitamin C products and noticed an immediate difference in my skin.  My complexion looked brighter, more even, and a few dark spots started to fade.  I got a compliment almost every time I left the house with the moisturizer and realized how big of a difference one powerful ingredient could make.  I was on the hunt for a good serum to replace the moisturizer once I ran out, plus I needed to replenish a few other skincare goodies.

When I saw the Perfect C Serum from Mychelle, I was so excited to add it to my regimen.  This serum has 17% Vitamin C, which is the highest and most effective concentrate on the market.  I've noticed that Vitamin C is best when used in the morning paired with a sunscreen -- After I splash my face with some cold water, I pat dry and apply one pump of the serum.  Once it's absorbed, I finsih with the Mychelle Sun Shield SPF 28.  Incase your mama hasn't told you already, don't forget your sunscreen!  An SPF around 30 is the best way to prevent premature wrinkles and keep your skin younger longer.

At night, I wash my face with the Murad Time Release Acne Cleanser (obsessed), tone with my Pixi Glow Tonic toner, and follow up with 2 pumps of the Mychelle Remarkable Retinal Serum.  The combination of a Retinal and Vitamin C routine have done wonders for my skin.  I let the Retinal Serum dry for about 30 minutes, apply my Natura Bisse Oxygen Cream, crawl into bed, and I'm set.

I've tried almost everything out there, from drugstore, high-end, dermatologist-recommended, etc. and can honestly say that less is more, and simple is better.  A good cleanser, Retinol product, Vitamin C, and sunscreen will take you a long way.

I did receive these Mychelle products for free via Brandbacker, but I'd never recommend a product that I didn't enjoy!
